Elderly Care in Tewkesbury

| I am a personal assistant and Home helper of which I have been doing for 40 years. My aim is to help individuals remain independent and stay in there own homes, also to make sure they have the right care if required, and all their needs are met, and if not, to find a solution or the resources to maintain good health and well-being, so liaising with doctors, nurses, social services, etc. If need be. I have a valid enhanced DBS and public liability insurance. also references from previous and current clients. I also work very closely with other care providers if required including GPs, hospital staff, OTs, Social Services etc. My work is unlimited.I look forward to hearing from you if you think I may be the right fit for your needs.

| I provide special care for dementia patients and standard care for patients within the community. This involves going to the patient's home to provide personal care and medication, cook their meals when needed, and assist with all day to day chores, plus the use of equipments when needed. I also liaise with the patient's GP and the district nurses when required. In my current role, I also look after all other patient needs and illnesses. I am trained in Palliative Care and have an NVQ 2 in Care.

| I have been in elderly care now for over 10 years and really can’t imagine doing anything else. I love my job and I think that is because my clients to me are more like friends and family. I really do want the best standard of life for everyone and want to promote independence as much as possible but by also supporting that person. I believe that the elderly should now have help with care for them as I sure that they have been caring for family for years. It is now their time for help.
