Kind and caring
|
'What experience do you have in care?' you're probably wondering. Well, I left school and worked within a care home which specialised in providing care and comfort to residents with advanced dementia. I was then transferred to the local day care centre providing care to both service users with dementia and complex needs. I loved my job and whilst working here I completed an SVQ and HNC in social care.
In 2014, I decided I was going to take the plunge and chase my dream of becoming a registered nurse. 3 years flew by far too quickly, and before I knew it, in 2017 I qualified as a registered mental health nurse. I am one of the lucky people who can say they really do love their job!
My current situation is that I have a 5 month old baby, and I am soon due to return to work full time. However, my hope is to drop to part time and also provide care to older adults in my local area. If you're looking for someone to assist with daily care needs, help out around the house, possibly even going on adventures out and about?! Whatever care your loved one needs, please just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. I can promise you a kind and caring service.
Thank you very much for reading, Rachel.
