| My name's Jodi. I am 33 years old and I have 3 children age 8, 6 and 4. I have a level 3 qualification in Childcare and have experience working with children in both a relaxed setting and a formal setting from age newborn to teenager age. I am currently working in a nursery during the days term time, so happy to work evenings weekends and school holidays.

| Working in childcare has always been a passion and key interest of mine. One of my motivations to go into teaching is to provide those I care for with the best opportunities and outcomes. I believe everyone has the chance to achieve anything and therefore try to remove the I can’t attitude. In school I was told I wouldn’t achieve much and this motivated me to prove those people wrong since then I have left school with GCSEs as a pass, a level 3 in childcare at AAA*, a degree in childhood studies, culture and education achieving a 2.2 and recently began my career in teaching as a qualified primary teacher. I have over ten years experience working in nurseries where I have held roles in before and after school clubs, a holiday club practitioner and mostly experience with baby rooms and under twos. Where I have been a room leader, curriculum leader and key person holding responsibility on the planning, behaviour, routines and responsibilities. In 2019 I began my journey in teaching completing my pgce in 2020 for primary. I have taught in nursery classes, reception, key stage one and year three. Most recently I have just spent a term teaching the most amazing class in a special needs setting.
