Childcare in Pontypool

| I currently worked in a local Primary school as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 4). I worked there for 17 years. I gave up my previous job after 16 years to study Childcare as I have always wanted to work with children. It is the best decision I made. I loved the job and teaching the children. I have worked with children aged between 4 to 7 years old. I can provide references if / when required. I am conscientious, reliable, have a caring nature and am very hard working. I have also gained experience bringing up my son, who is now in his twenties. I have enclosed my qualification certificates under the "CV" option. My name has changed since I have qualified as a HLTA Level 4 as per my Passport and driving licence, which are also enclosed. I have recently carried out babysitting duties, after school hours and in the school holidays, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have recently had experience fostering two children aged 9 and 14 full time for four months. Thank you for reading.

| Ever since I was about 14 I’ve been babysitting for family and family friends. I’ve completed 2 years of childcare in college at level 3 and from this I gained 2 years of work experience working in different childcare settings such as schools and nurseries.

| I have two and a half years of previous childcare experience in play-scheme settings and classrooms settings, i’ve acquired a DBS , first aid training, heart start training and a children’s play qualification. I have also worked as a one-to-one with children with autism and other special needs. In future i aspire to be a teacher and am in sixth form, i intend on going to university next year to study primary education.

| I have a level three in childcare. I have level three In first aid. I also enjoy doing arts and craft and daily activities.

| I am a very outgoing confident and trust worthy person, I have had 1 year experience with with care as I cared for a young boy with additional needs and a 6 month old little boy. I also have child care level 2.
