Childcare in Caerphilly

I have been working in a child care environment for the past 4 years. The children I have looked after have been aged 6 months to 4 years and I have also babysat for these children and their older siblings. While working in the nursery I have changed nappies, prepared bottles, put children to sleep, prepared breakfasts and fed the children throughout the day. Another part of my job is to interact with the children throughout the day and help them learn and experience new things. I have a level 3 in childcare and a first aid qualification. I am also studying towards a degree with the open university.

| My name is Naomi, I am 21 and live in Caerphilly. I am was studying mental health nursing at university, specialising in children’s mental health. After a year of study I have decided mental health is not for me but I would love to work with children of any age and I’m just started to look into jobs surrounding this. I have had a range of caring experiences, from primary school placements, working in a care home, working as a domiciliary carer, and my current job as a healthcare support worker in a hospital. I grew up babysitting my little cousins, and enjoyed every minute of it. My future goals are to own my own business within child care, and this is my starting point! I am aware my limited experience will impact my offers in this area of work, however at the moment during this pandemic there has been no job offers up for working in nurseries/schools etc. I am a hard worker, extremely punctual and a happy, energetic person who is very social. I am a very caring person and can’t see myself doing any other line of work that isn’t somehow involved in care. I love helping and supporting people, from my patients to my family

| I am a very kind and caring person with lots of enthusiasm, I like doing outdoor activities and being active, I’ve previously worked with young children and adults with disabilities. I have also just finished 3 years of being a nanny with a previous family, where there were three children aged 8, 6 and 2 therefore I have experience with a variety of ages. I have also done previous experience within primary schools and nurseries, I have a BTEC level 3 in health and social care which I completed in college, I have also completed a childcare and first aid course, and registered myself with the CIW. I have a full clean lisence and own vehicle, and also an advanced DBS

| I currently finished my level 3 child care, I have 4 years of working with all different ages as I done placement as a part of my course. I also provide activities for the children to do, I also have a full dbs check
