| My name is Tess. I am currently studying for a master's degree in Archaeology at the University of Glasgow. I worked as a babysitter during my final two years of my undergraduate degree. During this time, I worked for 3 different families, and each required me to bring different skills to my role. I picked the children up from school, prepared evening meals and snacks, assisted them with homework and engaged them in creative tasks. Additionally, I assisted with bath and bedtime if their primary care givers were out during the evening. In 2019 I worked as a guest experience creator and performer at an immersive children's theatre in London. This role taught me how to be an efficient communicator and how to facilitate creative play. I have also done some work exchanges in New Zealand where I was a live in child minder.
