Nannies in Christchurch

| My experience includes interacting with children and have been working for families now for 7.5 years ,I’ve looked after 2 babies working from the family's home for 6 months they travel a lot so I had to move on. I’ve worked for a family looking after 2 children aged 2 and 4 I really loved this family and worked so well with them, due to a change in their circumstances i had to move on . Since then I’ve worked for another family the children were 8 and 9 I was with them about 10 months this was a lovely job but mum could t afford to keep a nanny ! . I have been working for several families on a ad hoc basis independent and also for an agency , I’ve been working for a year caring for a baby from 5 weeks old I worked full time as a sole charge nanny , this was up until November 2022 as a permanent position but now help this family out on a had hoc basis , I love working with children and babies , I’ve had 7 years experience working in 2 Nurseries I worked in all the rooms from 3 months to 4 years , I’m looking for a permanent position between 20 to 30 hours a week Monday to Friday or I can consider over nights . | I currently work as a nanny in Lymington looking after three children aged 5, 3 and 1, I take the children on outings, prepare meals, food shop, light housework, prepare activities and absolutley love going to work. Previously I worked as a deputy manager in a day nursery however I have realised my true passion wass in nannying and I wanted to return to this. Previously I have worked in a Preschool with 2-5 year olds and as a nanny for a family of 2 children aged 6 and 7 from February 2014 till April 2016. I have achieved my Level 5 HND in early childhood and will complete my honours degree in early childhood studies in May/June. I have worked in a day nursery from June 2013 till February 2014 with children from the ages of 6 months to 3 years. There were around 30 children in my room in one day so I am used to working in a busy environment. Whilst studying my level 3 childcare qualification, I had work placements twice a week in nurseries and schools.

I love working with children and watching them grow and develop. I love setting up activities for the children and sorting out crafts such as painting, shaving foam, sticking, toothpaste. Being in a nursery, it's hard to take the children out such as to the park because of ratios how ever I love taking them to the park and showing them the birds or farm etc. when we manage to go out. It's nice building relationships with the children and them trusting you to hold them when there learning to walk or to come to you when up set and for you to comfort them. I love getting up in the morning knowing I am going to make a difference.

| I have a level 3 in childcare since 2003 and I have worked in local nurseries since qualifying. I am up to date all relevant training that is required. I have decided to further my career with nannying. I live in Christchurch but am willing to travel I have my own car and have been driving since 2004 with no points or anything on my license. I am a non smoker, who is comfortable around animals I have 3 dogs.
