| Throughout my childhood, onwards, I have been brought up with predominantly cats, rabbits tortoise, etc and in later years, dogs. I have looked after a friend’s pet rat, cat sat, for friends and work colleagues, staying in their home for up to 10 days, dog walked and cared for my nephew’s Iguana. Last year I rescued a fledgling pigeon, that was injured and drove it, from the Hospital, where I currently work, to a wildlife rescue centre near Salisbury. I am passionate about all animals, from spider, birds, wildlife and domestic pets/animals and feel I have a natural rapport. My best experiences have been on Safari in Kenya and spending time on Lamu Island, which has no transport, only donkeys, that are well looked after. I currently work on Christchurch Macmillan Unit, so am used to and trained in all aspects of care, which experience, I am able to bring into animal care. I am single and a car driver. My dream would be to work solely with animals and I am looking for a career change, so open to options and opportunities.
