Night Nannies Biggleswade

| I have nannied for 2 different families over the past 3 years. Firstly I was a night nanny for two boys (9 and 12) for a year and a half, duties including helping with homework, entertaining, cleaning, putting to bed, waking up and organising breakfast. I then became an after-school nanny for two children (5 year old girl and 9 year old boy) for a year and a half, duties including picking up from school, helping with homework, showering, cooking dinner, cleaning, entertaining, organising uniform and lunch for school the next day, and taking to extracurricular activities. I have a full DBS, clean UK driving license and own car and am comfortable with pets.

| I have worked within childcare for the past 18 years - this has included work as a children and families worker, mother and toddler group leader, baby group leader, nursery supply worker and teaching assistant as well as the last 13yrs working as a nanny. I also have a wide experience of children who have specialist needs. I have worked with children who have Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, Epilepsy and who are non-verbal as well as other medical conditions. I have a good knowledge of Makaton as well as good experience using PECS. I am able to accept "direct payments" (what was "short breaks") for any time which doesn't cover a time you are working (i.e. respite care, evening babysitting etc). I also have a good experience of working with all children from newborn to teenagers, this includes weaning, toilet training, early years development, preparation for school and homework I enjoy being out and about and taking children to mums and toddler groups, swimming, library sessions, soft play etc and I have a good knowledge of the local groups and facilities. When at home I enjoy singing nursery rhymes, doing baking, crafts and sensory play. I have experience of working with multiple children at once.

| I have regular experience as a babysitter for children from 3 months to 11 years old for the past 6 years. I have been doing this alongside university and now alongside my job. I can offer evening/weekend help, have a clean driving license and am happy to do any pick up/ drop off.

I also have experience with looking after my sisters son who is only one, so i have looked after him since he was a new born baby. I have also helped friends with their children babysitting during the day and over night, ranging from new born to 12. when i worked as a sports coach assistant the children the age ranges were from 3-17 year old. i did this during the week and at the weekends.

| I gained a strong experience as a caregiver throughout my life. I spent one summer as an au pair with a French family, taking care of two boys aged 9 and 11. I was creating activities for the boys, taking care of meal preparation and helping with the household. Then, I worked as a nanny of 2 girls aged 7 and 10 during my internship as a Teaching Assistant in Paris. Weekly, I was picking them up from school and taking care of them until the evening. That included homework help, as well as snack and dinner preparation. Finally, working as an entertainer for Czech travel agencies gave me valuable childcare experience. I spent several summers in Croatia preparing activities for all group of ages, while I was promoting my organizational skills as an event coordinator. The size of the children's groups started from 3 to 25. Currently, I am working in the UK. I have an internship as a Teaching Assistant in the Czech School Without Borders, London. Last but not least, I am in the last year of my master in special education - counselling program. Therefore, I have already few experiences with kids with special needs.
