| I’m 21 years old and have worked at a nursery for 3 years going in 4 and have worked with babies from 9 weeks old to children up to 5. I love being with the children and spending time with them but I’m now looking for a closer experience with children one on one. I love getting involved with messy play and I’m very adventurous and always looking for fun activities to do and be involved with. I’ve done my first aid and will be renewing it the start of next year.

| I am a qualified nursery nurse, with many years experience behind me. Worked in day nurseries for many years, working with children from 6wks to 8yrs. Then worked in schools with children from 5yrs to 18yrs. This included children in main stream schools and special needs schools. I'm patient, caring and provide a safe, warm and stimulating environment. I find working with children very rewarding and a challenge. Love all aspects of looking after children. I have my paediatric first aid and my food and hygiene certificate.

Whilst located at my current workplace, I have managed to work my way up to become the Assistant manager and also the preschool room manager. As well as the above mentioned roles, I am also the designated safeguard lead (DSL). The DSL should take lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection including online safety. I believe that I am enthusiastic and passionate about my job, always seeking opportunities to learn more. My position allows me to deliver early years education that empowers and inspires children- whilst giving them the best start in life. Qualifications: I currently hold a childcare diploma and up to date safeguarding training- including DSL training. I am trained in paediatric first aid, and also first aid at work. In regards to my office responsibilities, I hold GCSEs in English and maths and other subjects.
