In one family there were 3, 2 girls and a boy, with a difference of 2 years between them, which I had to organize different things. I liked that the children played with balls, danced and sang; Also worked with the hands, cut magazines and paste pictures creating drawings. We worked with recycled material. Sometimes if their parents had to go out, I used to babysit. I always was recommended to take care of other children. I don't have children but I always had a good vibe I am a responsible, reliable and committed person with the care of the children.

Emma is fantastic and was a blessing to our family this summer. We had just moved from the US and we were trying to adjust to a new life in the UK, get our home set up and unpacked and learn a new city. In walked Emma who was calm and patient and kind. She brought age appropriate activities for my two girls (aged 5 and 2) to entertain them and keep them happy throughout the long summer. She helped us with adjustment/behavioural issues, she helped cook meals, she helped clean up after the kids (and helped them be involved as well). She was respectful and courteous and always pleasant to be around. My girls miss Emma now that she's back at University and we look forward to seeing her again. | Hello there! My name is Tayla and I'm 25 years old. I've recently moved to Brighton after completing an MA in education and early years and an early years teacher status (EYTS) award at the University of Sussex. I'm currently working with Hays specialist recruitment as a supply teacher/TA and I am looking for more part time childcare work for short term/temporary basis before I go travelling europe to au pair in September. I come from a huge family so have always been surrounded by younger children (3 siblings, 14 cousins) and took on a caring role from a young age. I've had 5 years of varied education and childcare work experience, working with a range of children - from babies, during my teaching placements, right up to teenagers whilst volunteering at a summer camp in New York. My MA course specialised in the Early years foundation stage so my main experience is with children 0-7 years but I am comfortable working with any age. I also work part time on and off with an after school club company in schools around B&H but can negotiate hours with both my companies so can be very flexible with childcare shifts.

Fun, caring and responsible childminder with plenty of experience
| My name is Chiara and I am 23 years old. I grew up in Ireland but moved to Brighton as I love this area but also to study Psychology. I am an older sister to siblings ages 3,7,11 and 18 so I have life long experience of childminding. I am very confident with all ages and have been admired for my natural talent at looking after young people. I am a creative person and am very happy to do lots of fun activities such as art, music, cooking/baking or outdoor/nature orientated activities. I am well able in challenging situations and good at coming up with quick and resourceful solutions with children/teens. I am very down to earth and open, and care a lot about ensuring everybody is comfortable and happy in my presence- whether that is spending lots of time together talking and sharing or respecting one’s space if they prefer to do their own thing. I am very responsible and organised, with a background in hospitality and working in kitchens so I am very happy to do any extra housekeeping bits or covering meal times. I am patient and also have many years experience helping with homework etc. Throughout my teens I worked on and off as a babysitter covering both day and night shifts.
