I have moved to Brighton to do a Master's in International Education and Development and I'm looking for some part-time work to support my studies. I could think of nothing I would rather do than work with children as it is something I have spent much of my life doing and truly love it! For the past 5 years I have been working in the pastoral department of boarding school, as a house assistant and a house parent and since leaving my last job I have really missed being around kids. My youngest sister is 15 years younger than me so I've always been used to having children around and I have been babysitting for as long as I can remember. I am a very cheerful and energetic person and everyone I know says that I am an absolute natural with children (clearly we're on the same wavelength or something!) and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I am confident with babies and children of any age and will happily feed/ change/ help with homework/ go to the park/ entertain- whatever is necessary!
