After many years experience in Nurseries in England and Scotland and few more years in Greece with a range of ages of children and SEN children and my studies in Childcare ( BA in Childhood Practice - Strathclyde University )i think i have what is required to succeed at your children and i am always looking for new opportunity to enhase my learning and my knowledge. | I am a nanny based in Glasgow, with 9 years of experience in childcare, and arts education. I have nannied for children ages 1-16, and hosted workshops with children of all ages with local art organisations and community groups. I worked for the last family I nannied for for over 5 years as a part-time nanny for a boy and a girl aged 3-8. I am friendly and approachable, with a very kind and compassionate nature. I always treat children with kindness and respect, and encourage them to do the same with others. In my previous roles I took the children to nursery and any activities they had on throughout the day, collected them from school, played with them and engaged them in educational activities, helped and encouraged them to complete their homework, prepared healthy balanced meals, got them ready for after-school activities, helped them to tidy, and ensured that their emotional and physical well-being was always taken care of. I am able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

I have 12 years of childcare experience including working in nurseries and family centres. I have been working as a nanny to a set of twins for the past two years. They are due to start nursery, hence the reason I am looking for a new family to work for.

| I have one years experience working with children aged 3-5 with Glasgow City Council as a nursery teacher. I also have 5 years volunteer experience with PEEK Project working with children aged 5-12 in outdoor and indoor play sessions. I babysat for a family casually for over a period of six months. This family had six children, of which, I babysat up to four at a time. This also included making dinners, light housework and seeing the children into bed. I am a caring, loving and nurturing person who has a passion for working with children. I have a HNC qualification in Early Education and Childcare and currently study a BA Hons in Childhood Studies at the University of the West of Scotland to progress my qualifications further. Whilst working for Glasgow City Council, I completed training in outdoor play, nurture, English as an additional language and many other topics as well as planning and implementing a high standard of activities whilst also implementing the curriculum for excellence. I provide care by preparing healthy and balanced meals, planning and executing age appropriate activities, helping with homework, exploring outdoors whilst simultaneously creating a playful and entertaining environment.
