Affectionate, reliable, fun and energetic nanny/babysitter!

I'm an Archaeology MPhil student at UoG. In my spare time I love to cook, bake, paint, read and travel. Most importantly, I adore spending time with children, and have a natural talent for coaxing even the shyest ones out of their shells.
I have a lot of experience in childcare: For three and a half years I was a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school. I found that I had a real connection with the students, and helped to increase GCSE results by 13.5% within a year.
After this, I got promoted to a Level 2 TA, working in the school's autism unit. I have a lot of experience with special needs on top of this: My younger brother has Asperger's Syndrome, and I have also worked with a young girl with Down's Syndrome. I have taught Spanish, started an English as a Foreign Language club for, and run a lunch-time art club for the students.
After this, I became an au pair to twin five year old boys in Rome, providing every level of care to them. On top of this, I teach English in Florence annually. I have also been the regular babysitter (including overnight) for a family with three young children, two of whom I have babysat since they were newborns.
I have a DBS certificate.
