Childcare in Dewsbury

| I am a fully qualified childcare teacher and assessor. I have managed a private day nursery for 15 years. I have 8 beautiful grandchildren. I thrive on treating each child as an individual regardless of their ability and watching them flourish. Fully qualified EYFS teacher, first aid and full SEN knowledge. I am just starting my own childcare at home. Full DBS and very good references.

| I would work with children while studying in university for extra income so I’m looking for flexible hours. I have a lot of experience due to placement with children aged 0-5 in different nurseries and through family friends looking after their older children aged 8+. I have my GCSE's, I did a BTEC course in childcare level 3. I am a very reliable and like to keep to time for the children’s routines and stay organized. When being with children I don’t force but encourage children to do what they are asked like trying vegetables, getting in the bath or picking up after themselves; I try to encourage these “boring" tasks in a playful and educational manner. When working together your preferred ways will be followed if you set how you would like me to deal with a situation like that. I take pride in working with parents as they are the first and main teachers of their children and the parents know what’s best. I can follow strict and flexible instructions. I can do meals or prep by following recipes online or from book if provided. I do like to make sure children eat before bed and have a healthy snack or even a little treat if allowed by parents. I can also assist children with homework, toileting, nappies and bath time if required.

| I have worked in Schools for the last 4 years with working with children with the age of 3-9 years old and I have enjoyed every minute. Within that that work I obtained my CACHE Level 3 in Teaching, learning and supporting children. Working/helping children is my passion and I would like to progress my learning by doing my Level 4 skills in Counselling to become a counsellor for children/adults. I may not have any relevant experience becoming a nanny, or a child minder however I am willing to learn in any aspect of this job to better myself as well as better my skills to care for children within their home environment.

I have four years of childcare experience ranging from ages 2-13, to which I can supply references. I am currently studying level 2 Children and Young People's workforce, which I will finish by June 2015. I hope to someday be a primary school teacher or a Spanish teacher, as I lived in Spain for seven years. I speak fluent Spanish if you would like me to teach your child/children another language.
