Childcare in Barnsley

| Hello, my names Sasha and I have my own Nanny/babysitter business in Barnsley. I named the business following my love for my Finnish training qualification. In February 2015 I visited Finland to train to become a Finnish educator, I completed this qualification also in 2015. In Finland they love the outdoors and make the most of the snow throughout winter - all children take risks for themselves, play themselves with little adult help and led activities. They teach children in many different languages and they teach them to be independent and support each other before asking for help from their teachers. I also love Finland for the mountains and skiing, i have been skiing since 2012, and have been skiing in Austria and Finland. I do also have an English Qualification in Childcare too! (The Finnish one is just a little more interesting!) I hope to hear from you Sasha

| My name is Emily, I am 20 years old. I would describe myself as a warm caring person who enjoys caring and looking after others I finished studying childcare level 3 at college in June 2017. During this time I have been on 2 placements one in a primary school working with foundation stage and one at a day nursery working with pre-school. I am currently on a placement at a day nursery working with all children when needed. My role when on placement is to encourage the children to participate in play activities, help the practitioners with their duties and to support the placement as a whole. I have previous experience with occasional babysitting. As part of these jobs I have put children to bed, tidied up around the house, given the children their tea and supported the children.

| I don't have much child care experience unfortunately but I am wanting to work with them in the future so I require experience. I think this would be a great opportunity for me to find out if I have what it takes to work with children. I live local so I would be reliable.

| I am a previous nursery practitioner with an overall experience in childcare of four years, I have worked and cared for children from six months to six years of age. I have a level 3 diploma in child development, a qualified paediatric first aider, certified in behavioural management and SEN.

| Although I’m only 18 years of age I have many years experience with children from as little as the age of a week old up to 10 years old as I worked along side my mother as a pool side assistant. Assisting babies/children. I’ve also done baby sitting/ childcare for many years for family,friends, neighbours.

| My name is Molly, I am a 19 year old girl who is studying criminology at Sheffield Hallam university. I have just finished my 1st year. I have a part time Saturday job as a retail assistant, my hours are 8:30-6pm on a Saturday, meaning I am available on Saturday nights from around 7 onwards depending on where you are. I am also available on Friday/Sunday nights, as well as a couple of afternoons/nights during the week also, until I go back to university at the beginning of October, this is when my availability will change to mainly weekends. I have previous experience babysitting for two separate children. I have babysat for my little brother for 4 years. I babysit him at least once a week and it is great. We love to do fun things like baking, playing board games and going swimming. I also have experience babysitting my ex employers little girl. We spend our time usually drawing and playing singing games together when I babysit her which is more of an as and when sort of job. I don’t drive or smoke, however I have a weekly bus pass meaning I can easily get around Barnsley. I would love to help a family out by providing childcare, I love to be around young children and look after them.

| I am a 25 year old woman currently looking for part time work in childcare and education outside of a school setting. I have worked in multiple schools, nurseries and kids clubs over the years and I am fully trained up to university graduate level (Level 6) in the childcare and education industry.

| Growing up with younger brothers and sisters gave me the opportunity to always help and care for children. I worked as an activity leader for 2 years teaching children to thrive and enjoy life by overcoming their fears, taking part in things like rock climbing, archery and abseiling. I am level 3 early years qualified; which I have achieved while working in a nursery for 3+ years.
