| I am an registered childminder with over 15 years experience working with children. I have previously worked as a nursery nurse and nanny I have a son who was born in May 2014 and a son who was born in December 2018 I decided to become a childminder to combine being with my children everyday and continuing with a job I love. I enjoy helping children to learn and develop to the best of their ability, and feel proud to be a part of their lives. | After spending 13 years as a primary school teacher, I decided to dedicate my time with children on a more one to one basis. I operate a small childminding service limiting the number of children in my care. Working from home, I have a dedicated play area with numerous, toys, resources, etc, I attend the local library, playgroups and softplay centres whenever possible, visit numerous parks, children friendly play areas and child friendly restaurants. I have all the necessary certification. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and this career allows me to spend as much time with my own children as possible whilst caring for the children of other hard working parents. I have a large home and I reinforce the principal of a happy home environment, this is not a school, this is not a nursery, this is a home from home, and I look forward to meeting new children/parents and welcoming them to join this home from home. | Hi, my name is Emma and I am a registered childminder in Tyldesley close to Astley Street Park. I have been working in childcare for the past 20 years. I have worked in nurseries and as a nanny. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. | our service is a childcare & education provision, registered, inspected & awarded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. my-childminder has been established since 1983. We have now changed to My Nursery but the same on the inside. Our childcare & education services are offered between the hours of 7.30am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday. There are 8 members of our team who are dedicated childcare workers, 4 full time & 4 part time. | I have worked with children for more than 30 years on and off. I currently work in a school kitchen cooking and serving school dinners but want to return to full time childminding/nannying. I went to college and trained as a nanny 32 years ago and worked as a nanny till I had my own kids, did various jobs as dinner lady, cleaner and catering to fit round my kids when they were young then retrained as a child minder in 2008 didn't like dealing with the tax man so gave it up and started working in school kitchens and also clean in a police station. I have an enhanced dbs and can provide references. I have a 3 year old grandson who I look after at weekend and school holidays , always painting/playing games with him or out and about, swimming park or farms so up to date with things that kids like to do.
