| I worked in a nursery for almost 2 years, i love spending time with children and enjoy doing activities with them, i bake, im helpful with homework as im recently out of school and i’ve worked in a nursery with after school kids that needed help with homework. i help with house work and love to clean. i like drawing, colouring in, swimming, arts and crafts, going out walks, going to parks, i love doing messy play. i’m still young and have a little brother that i spend a lot of time with doing all these activities with.

| I have experience with children of ages 0-13 years. My last job I worked as a nanny in the french alps for 4 months caring for children of all ages. My experience is mainly focused on the younger side (1-4), however I’m comfortable caring for any ages. During my last job, my role was very diverse, caring for different age ranges and multiple children at once. We would take older children to ski lessons and ski alongside them, then cook a healthy lunch and after that carry out a fun afternoon activity that all ages could enjoy. | My name is Kirsty, I have just arrived back in England after 2 years in New Zealand, of which 1 year was spent as an Au Pair for a lovely family near Christchurch. I lived in with the family and looked after 3 children whilst the parents we at work or social events. When I started the children were 3, 5 and 7 years old, 2 girls and one boy. I was in charge of getting them ready for school, to and from school/preschool, after school activities, homework tasks, fun activities, household chores and also preparing and cooking meals for the family. Before starting this job, I completed a Child First Aid course. In addition, I babysat for other families in the area including overnight stays. I also volunteered at a local Nursery School when I was younger and volunteered at Upton House to help organise and run events such as the Easter Egg trail. I am an active, happy and motivated person, I love working with kids and I love being able to help busy parents out with childcare and tasks around the house.

| I have been babysitting since I was a child myself. I’ve babysat cousins, siblings, friends of the family and families I didn’t know in advance. I have also worked at an after school club for 4 years, and worked as manager of the same after school club for a year. The after school club had up to 70 children aged 6-11, and I would lead drama club, arts and crafts, football and just play. In addition to this I’ve worked as an Au Pair for about a year, and I’ve worked at a primary school as a pupil support assistant. I think the reason why children really like me is that while I’m positive, happy and outgoing, I am also calm. I will listen to them, see them and I genuinely care. Even if this means listening to hours of chat about video games! A parent once told me that they felt safe knowing I was there to watch their children, and that the children were always so excited that I was coming over that they didn’t feel anxious about the parents being away for the evening. I’m planning to train as a Primary Teacher, but not until September 2023. I miss working with children, and would love to work as a babysitter again. I’m free all day Friday - Sunday, and available weekday afternoons/evenings.

I cared for children that ranged from the age of 3 to 16 and there were around 20 to 30 children in the after-school club each day. Each child came with an individual record and some with learning difficulties such as: down-syndrome; autism; learning difficulties; ADHD and more. Caring for each child individually, understanding each one of their needs and working with them in a way that would ensure the best comfort for them was mandatory. I created a lot of bonds with the children, ones that will always be remembered.

I have experience for working with children from birth till 15 years. I use to volunteer at an after school children's group from Primary 1-2 or P3-5. My role was to help out with the activities that was set up for the kids and also tidying it away.
