After School Care Ringwood

| I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I have an honours degree in Early Years and have worked with children since 2002. I have been a Childminder since 2006 and have a wealth of experience with all ages, from newborn onwards, as well as all the relevant up to date training including paediatric first aid, safeguarding and so on. I am a member of The Forest Childcare Association and believe that the natural world plays an important part in children’s development. I have a dedicated playroom for the children, a large garden with play equipment and vegetable growing (and fairies!) And we are lucky enough to live within walking distance of open spaces, riverside walks and the forest plantation. Although my children are older now, as a working Mum myself I fully understand the challenges faced by busy parents today. I look after all ages, following the early years foundation stage curriculum with the under 5’s as well as providing before and after school care for older children, including pick ups and collection to and from local schools. I am able to offer government funded spaces for 2 year olds (15hr wk) and 3/4 year olds (15-30hrs wk.) Please get in touch to find out what spaces are available currently.

| I have 3 grown up children and a 3 year old grand daughter who I've cared for all their lives. I have been a secondary school teacher for 18 years. I can offer childminding/ baby sitting, but also tutoring to secondary school aged children. I have registered to complete a childminding course in the new year, though I already have an up to date DBS certificate. I'm looking at moving away from teaching and more toward childminding. I have a young puppy, so clients would have to feel comfortable with their children being around an adorable, well- behaved Cocker Spaniel. I am available Monday- Friday mornings onwards. I can do after school pick ups, though I tutor in the evenings from 5-7pm.

| I currently work part time as a senior care worker and have done so for the past 3 years. Before my children were born I trained in childcare and have both NVQ and NVQ 3 certificates as well as a recent first aid, CPR AND recovery position training. I have been a manager of a nursery and after school job and up until I had my children I have always worked in childcare. I also worked abroad before my children were born as a reception teacher. I have all certificates and a new DBS from my current employment if needed. I have my own car which which is fairly big and seats 4 children in total. | I have a vast amount of experience with working with children in a professional (schools/nurseries) and casual (baby sitting) setting which I enjoy immensely and I have a degree in Psychology and Child Development and a Level 6 Early Years Teacher qualification. I am currently looking for full time work but can offer many services including drop off/pick up to school and other activities, babysitting all times of the day (including over night) and after school services such as dinner and bathing. Hello, my name is Jenn. I am originally from Southern California and have been I. The UK for the last year but am fairly new to the Dorset area. I have a college degree in social behavior/ child development and have worked with children for over 13 years. I first worked in an after school camp for two years. Then, became an in house nanny for the last 11 years. I am full of energy and love being outside. I believe it is very important for children to be outdoors and get fresh air as often as possible however I've noticed while living in England how that may prove tricky as the weather does not always permit. I feel that while children learn through play I have many activities that make inside play fun and imaginative. I'm also great with homework help and cooking healthy and enjoyable meals. I love working with children and understand that all children need to feel supported and have positivity in their lives in order to become happy productive members of our society and I am dedicated providing positive reinforcement in all things. | I’m currently working in the day as an au pair for a 2 year old & a 4 year old. But am looking to expand to cover more family’s in my area. Over the years I’ve had a range of experience with running mother & toddler groups, after school clubs, holiday clubs, school pick ups & occasionally caring for 4 children. | Hi, my name is Michaella. and I'm currently a 3rd costume design student at Arts University Bournemouth. Back in America I have at least 7 years of childcare experience. I was a camp counselor for 3 years. In that time I also gained experience working with special needs children. Back home I also do princess birthday parties. With that I work with many children of different ages. We sing songs, dance, I make balloon animals and do face painting. Before coming here in September, I was a nanny for an 8 year old girl. I watched her 3 days a week and normally took her someplace everyday. I usually ended up watching 3-6 kids though because of her friends next door. Among those 6 was a one year old who I had no issues taking care of. Before this past summer, baby sitter for two children that I picked up from school and watch them until their parents were home. I also did slight meal prep when it came to giving them after school snacks. Along with work experience, I'm and aunt of 14 (15th one due in October). My oldest Niece is 21 and my youngest is 6 months, so I have experience dealing with every age. I do have a UK work visa and valid passport.

| I am a university student with 11 GCSEs and 3 A Levels so will be able to help with homework, I’ve looked after my brother after school for a few hours a day since I was 14. There is a 9 year age gap so i was taking care of him from when he was 5, to the age of 9. I am a creative cook able to cook to any child’s preferences. Can help younger children bathe and help them get ready for bed. I also love pets! I am a sports fan of any kind which gives me the opportunity to have conversations with sporty children. I also play a lot of games on my Play station so I am able to connect with any gaming kids.
