| Hi, my name is Shannon. I have cared for young children and young adults for 11 years now. I started working when I was 13, I am now 24 years old. Usually I care for children with disabilities and support the family with care at home or taking them out for the day. However I have also had experience with mainstream children and I have a very calming presence which makes the children feel at ease. I have worked as a team leader in an after school club (I did this for 5 years). I have also trained as a teacher in a primary school and secondary school. I am currently waiting to start my new job as a teacher in July so I am looking for some work for the next three weeks. I am a fun, reliable and caring person. I love working with children and I have very good behaviour management skills whilst having the most fun we can have together to build a good bond. I am adaptable for when things change and I am always happy to follow your preferences for your child. I can cater for all needs and abilities. | I have nannied for 2 different families over the past 3 years. Firstly I was a night nanny for two boys (9 and 12) for a year and a half, duties including helping with homework, entertaining, cleaning, putting to bed, waking up and organising breakfast. I then became an after-school nanny for two children (5 year old girl and 9 year old boy) for a year and a half, duties including picking up from school, helping with homework, showering, cooking dinner, cleaning, entertaining, organising uniform and lunch for school the next day, and taking to extracurricular activities. I have a full DBS, clean UK driving license and own car and am comfortable with pets.

| Hello, My name is Claire. I am a married mum of 2 children 16 and 10. I graduated from college in 1993 with a diploma in childcare (NAMCW Diploma) I went on to have 2 live in Nanny jobs one in Kent, one in London. Followed by 2 live-out jobs both in Kent. Moved to Bedfordshire with my husband in 2003 and accepted another live-out Nanny position, had my son a year later, and remained with the family until he went to pre-school at 3. From leaving this family I worked at a preschool, taking charge of both breakfast and after-school club as well as being an assistant within the preschool. I left there in 2010 to have my daughter and didn't return. I am looking to return to childcare now.
