Childcare in Aberystwyth

| Hi there, my name is Julie, I’m 45 and live on the outskirts of Aberystwyth. I am a mother of four, with my children aged between 5 and 18. I have experience of bringing up my children and I am very nurturing. I have a calm, patient and understanding personality. | I have been involved in childcare for around 4 years. I was an Au Pair for 2 years and looked after 2 children (ages 2 and 7). This involved home schooling, housework, pick ups and drop offs at school and various clubs, and assisting their visually impaired mother with everyday tasks. More recently I have been working at a nursery, caring for children aged 0-4, and an after school / holiday club, caring for children aged 5-11. I organised lots of group activities (sports, crafts etc.) and also helped out with the SEN children. During my time working at the nursery, I would often come up with stimulating tasks for the children, trying to encourage as much creativity as possible.

| I have over three years experience of paid work as a Relief Nursery Assistant. However, I have far more additional experience as I have been involved in childcare, activity planning, and leading at kids and youth groups for many years. I have also worked as a part time nanny in the past while at university. I relate well to children and babies of all ages and can plan fun and relevant activities. My priority is providing a nurturing and fun environment where children can feel secure and happy. I am a qualified Level 3 Childcare Practitioner, have a BSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Wellbeing and I am currently in the final stages of my MSc Psychology at Edge Hill. | Hello, My name is Ffion, I'm 24 and have lived in Aberystwyth my whole life. I'm a friendly, responsible person who's always enjoyed being around children. I have 6 years varied experience working with children from the ages of 2 to 12 in different childcare settings. I also have experience working with children on the Autistic spectrum. I am Welsh speaking have my own transport and have a current DBS My Qualifications; GCSE Child Development NVQ level 2 & 3 Child Development & learning Level 2 First Aid .
