Elderly Care in Aberystwyth

| I am a scout leader and previously looked after an elderly men for a week on the pilgrimage to Lourdes which was organise by my previous school. I have experience I am a second year student of genetics with biochemistry at Aberystwyth Univeristy. I am a friendly and funny Pearson. I talk alot and therefore be perfect to keep a good company.

| I am a experienced support worker/carer of 20 years, supporting vulnerable adults with all aspects of daily living within their own home. I achieved a level 3 NVQ in health & social care during this time. I am looking for a new position where I can continue to work within a care/support setting. I am extremely friendly, trustworthy,resilient and conduct myself with the highest integrity. I would bring these plus many other qualities to the right setting.

I am also adept at maintaining accurate records, forming positive relationships and energising colleagues to deliver exceptional work. I know this is a hugely rewarding role and a career to be proud of because I made a positive difference to the lives of older people by providing personalized care in a warm, supportive and friendly environment.

| I have cared for my neighbor's father for the past two years, as he has dementia. I make it my upmost priority to make sure he is taken care of responsibility and with kindness and patience. He has recently been moved to a senior care home, and unfortunately is often not being treated fairly. Elder abuse is far too common. I make it my goal to ensure that families never have to worry about their loved one and the treatment they are receiving. Furthermore, I have worked in a retirement home. Hearing stories about the past, about their lives, and providing them with care and comfort was easily the best part of the job.

I don't have any professional experience. However I used to work as a special assistant. I took care of people who had special needs such as autism, polio...
