I have been involved in childcare for around 4 years. I was an Au Pair for 2 years and looked after 2 children (ages 2 and 7). This involved home schooling, housework, pick ups and drop offs at school and various clubs, and assisting their visually impaired mother with everyday tasks. More recently I have been working at a nursery, caring for children aged 0-4, and an after school / holiday club, caring for children aged 5-11. I organised lots of group activities (sports, crafts etc.) and also helped out with the SEN children. During my time working at the nursery, I would often come up with stimulating tasks for the children, trying to encourage as much creativity as possible.
