Please help! My 'Trusted' house sitter has let me down just two days before the sit. Unless I find a sitter at this late hour I will have to sit at home while my friends celebrate my birthday at the Edinburgh Festival. I have two affectionate cats and a 4-year-old Border collie, who is adorable and very affectionate but is afraid of other dogs, so you won't have to walk her as I have a professional dog walker who comes every day. You will have the best of her at home and she is so lovely and puppyish. She loves to play fetch in the garden. My house is a 200 year old English terraced cottage with original stone floors in a beautiful crescent surrounded by countryside. The building used to be a Fustion cutting mill that was split into three houses. There is a back yard leading to a large (currently unkempt) garden. It's a bit like a meadow at the moment and the view out of the back is totally green and lush. There's private parking on a cobbled area at the front of the house. It is homely with a large range cooker, an open fire in the lounge, a gas fire in the dining room, central heating & there are two double bedrooms. It's cozy and comfortable. There is a utility room and 2nd toilet downstairs off the kitchen and the two bedrooms and bathroom with bath and walk in shower upstairs. The village of Lymm is just 10 minutes walk down the tow path of the Bridgewater canal. Not just the perfect base for walkers and those that like exploring the English countryside, but a place of interest and beauty in itself. There are many pubs & restaurants in the village and so many beautiful walks (Lymm Dam is a sizeable body of water in gorgeous surroundings). The village has been entered into this year's Village Of The Year competition and it has just been named as the UK's 6th most desirable holiday destination by the AA and Visit England. Lymm people are friendly and it's easy to get chatting to new people when out exploring. I have a smart TV with a basic Sky package, Netflix and an Amazon Fire stick with Prime membership. You can also watch YouTube on the TV. There's a cinema 15 minutes drive away in Altrincham and the town of Warrington is also 15 minutes drive away. You might also bump into famous people as Lymm is a popular choice of home for premier division footballers, actors and musicians (Ian Brown of the Stone Roses can often be seen in the local cafe or doing his shopping in the village).

We are in need of a pet sitter in Lymm WA13 who is reliable and trustworthy. This would be from Saturday, 1st August to Saturday, 8th August. It would be nice if you had a few years of experience and references. Please send me a message if you are interested. We would like someone to look after the dog in their own home as she gets lonely on her own and would fret. She's a lovely, friendly dog, but she hates other dogs. Well, she barks at them anyway, but doesn't attack or bite or anything. She is a miniature dachshund and is 7 years old. She likes to jump up on things, but she isn't allowed to as she may hurt her back. She is great with cats as she lives with two of them. It would be great if the same person could visit the house daily to feed them, let them in (or out) and clean litter if needed. They are very friendly and neutered boys.
