Hello we are a family of 4 living in East Croydon, looking for a housekeeper/cleaner/organiser/task helper. We are neurodiverse so someone who is familiar with ADHD and Autism would be an advantage, as you will understand executive function, and how it affects our family and ultimately our home and routines. We have been let down many times by people on this site, and are looking for someone that can commit to working flexibly with us over a period of time. We are looking for someone to help us get back on our feet and that will take time so if you are inflexible or judgemental, please do not apply. Preferably you will be local to East Croydon/Addiscombe/South Norwood. It is important to us that you are flexible and non judgemental. Initially, the role will be about getting us back to where we should be household wise. This includes the children's bedrooms firstly, and then other communal home spaces. No two visits will be the same. One day you may focus on the children's rooms, bathrooms and kitchen, another you may focus on the hallways, living room and home office etc. There may be days where the main task will be to clear down the laundry and pack it away. Generally a visit is around 4 hours and sometimes 5 dependant on the rate. We are looking for a housekeeper/mother's help more so than 'just' a cleaner, as spaces may need tidying/decluttering as you go along. Some tasks that our previous housekeeper done was sorting a storage cupboard, clearing out and cleaning the garden shed, shredding of papers etc so, who we are looking for, needs to be an all rounder. For now, until we find the right person, we are looking for someone ad hoc. I appreciate this may not be right for everyone, but the idea is for you to feel comfortable with our family and our challenges and for us to feel safe with you. Once that has been established, the aim will be to continue on every week and then perhaps every other week in the future.
