The role is full time 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. There may be occasional weekend work; when weekends are worked days are given off during the week in lieu. Looking for knowledge, experience, and a great eye for details in cleaning, laundry, and ironing; knowing how to handle various types of garments and is well versed caring for delicate items. Organisational skills in ensuring that cupboards, storage, and wardrobes are logically arranged and tidy at all times. Duties include: daily cleaning, laundry, ordering items for the household ( cleaning products, toiletries, items where stock is low), liaising with dry cleaners, organising cupboards, running some errands when delivery is not possible, and other housekeeping tasks such as deep cleaning when principals are away. We both work and have two boys aged 3 and 5 Household Cleaning & Maintenance: Regular cleaning (tidying, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, etc.). Cleaning bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs). Cleaning the kitchen (countertops, cabinets, appliances). Laundry (washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes). Changing bed linens and towels. Dishwashing (loading/unloading the dishwasher). Ad hoc deep cleaning (windows, fridge, oven etc.). Ad hoc organizing closets, drawers, pantry, and storage spaces when needed Trash and Recycling (emptying bins, taking out recycling). Potentially occasional Meal prep, but can be discussed, not a must. Ideally we are looking for someone to come 3 hours, three times a week (total of 9 hrs a week).
