Elderly Care Jobs in Maidenhead

We need a friendly, caring and responsible elderly care provider near Maidenhead SL6. Live-in care will be part of this job. We are trying to avoid a care home as she has dementia and don’t want to confuse her more. She has been in hospital 3 times in last 6 months due to minor infections and a fall where she tried to get out of bed and forgot to press alarm , so feel a live in carer would be best. Plus she says she feels lonely despite 4 times a day carers and relatives coming each day so think the company would be great. She can walk a few paces slowly with walker but needs supervision as arthritis very bad . She is very sweet most of the time and would be a very easy, friendly companion to care for. Shw has dementia so short term memory is terrible, forgetting what she did even an hour ago . We just want to feel like we are trying to keep her safe, happy and live in carer would be a less disruptive option . She has a lovely clean, tidy house with 3 bedrooms so plenty of lovely personal space for carer . Lovely garden for the summer to sit outside and 10 min walk/5 min drive to shops . We can arrange cover for days off so that maybe a carer does midweek and has weekends off . She needs help with personal hygiene and can’t get to shower so a bed wash is her norm. Making food each day but she’s not a big eater. Popping washing machine on and a bit of light housework .. but this is v easy as house already very tidy and clean . She just wants someone who is there with her for a chat . She loves watching TV and dozed off a lot in day as she is 90. You would have parking too as she has private driveway space. She visits family most weekends but not overnight but we could find alternative care for 2 days to give you two days off each week and come to an agreement on those days .
