We are looking for a friendly, experienced, professional housekeeper to join our family in Cobham. Must be punctual, organised and capable of using initiative. 25-30 hours per week. The role covers all housekeeping tasks, including maintaining a clean, tidy and organised home, laundry and ironing, some light cooking, running errands and supervising work in the home when required. Some childcare required for children aged 12 and 15 but the primary role is housekeeping. Must be pet-friendly. Clean driving licence essential, own car an advantage.

My husband has very severe ME - he is fully bedbound and reliant on full-time care. We're looking for help while I am working (usually from home) - which involves being on hand for when he needs help, toileting in bed, preparing food and medication. His care needs vary and some days he doesn't need much, so I'm looking for someone who would be happy to help around the house (e.g. with cleaning, washing up and laundry) in between his care needs. It would be at least three days per week (usually 9-4 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays), but additional ad hoc hours would be available. He has severe cognitive difficulties and is non-verbal, so we are looking for someone who is willing to learn and able to adapt care to his needs, as well as his daily routine. Training will be available on his care needs and very severe ME. He uses messaging apps to communicate with his carers so we need someone confident using a smartphone and able to read/write fluently in English. Enhanced DBS required and references. Care experience is preferable but not essential. We are looking for someone who would be happy to do a few training days in December, then two days per week in Jan/Feb, increasing to the three days per week from March (when his current carer is leaving). Consistency of carers is really important for us so we're looking for someone keen to provide help long-term.Access to a car essential since we are quite far from public transport.

We are looking for a long term housekeeper to help us with general household cleaning/washing/ironing but also help Mum of house with 3 young children (8, 6, and 3). Child related tasks simply: 1. Staying home with one while Mum is picking others up from school/activities etc 2. Helping Mum/Dad a little with evening kids bath/bed etc period 3. Ideally you would have a driving license so in an emergency could pick a child up from school etc if needed. Mum/Dad are very hands on so child related help would be minimal, we literally just need an extra pair of hands :) Main role would be staying on top of the household cleaning/washing etc in the house. Again we’d like to think we’re a ‘neat’ family and would operate as a team. Ideal hours would be Monday to Thursday 1 or 2pm start to 7.30 or 8pm finish but we are willing to be flexible for the right person. Full-time equivalent pay offered. Minimum core hours to cover before/after school will be Monday-Thursday 7.30am until school drop-off at 8.45am and school collection at 15.15pm until 18.00pm. Plus additional light duties totalling a maximum of one full day per week (can be split across the week).
