|
I am presently working at a local Seniors' Retirement Residence, which assists with independent living in one building, and assisted living in another building, as UCP-GA. I took care of my elderly mother, who had dementia, for five years, after my father passed. I also assisted my late sister-in-law prior to her passing. I have been double vaccinated as of June 2021. I can provide a recent clear Criminal Record check, a recent negative TB 2 test, and personal professional references. I have practical experience of equipment used in care facilities such as portable BP machine, digital thermometer, oximeter, if the family has these available. I have practical experience with Apidra, Oxempic, and Tresiba diabetic pens, and Life Style Libre. I have my personal face shield, if family can provide disposable masks, and disposable gloves. I have a full schedule at my current place of employment, which may change. Therefore, I am not able to do nights or overnights. I do not have regular access to a vehicle, but can work within the city bus routes if necessary. Due to personal and senior physical safety, my present employment and my personal preference is to apply a 'no lift' policy.
