I am a retired nurse, I have worked many years caring for seniors, and have references available.

| Currently was taking care of senior lady with dementia for 6 years. Before that I moved here from BC where I worked in senior homes as a hairdresser for about 8 years and came to really enjoy these older ones and their stories. I found many were very lonely at times and just needed a listening ear or someone to acknowledge them, even with a simple hello or a pat on the hand. I seem to be drawer to these older ones and get on with them very well. When I moved here I wanted to continue to work with seniors and so I put a add out there for seniors who needed assistance with daily life and companionship. I was very privileged to work with a senior lady who needed my kind service. My responsibility were, cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, med reminders, and true honest friendship. | I was a medication trained hca for 7 years in a retirement / respite setting .I also worked for 4 years with physically and mentally challenge young adults . I also worked in a Ltc for a year . I have good nursing skills and able to help with am and hs care medication administration i have training with various nursing care .I also available for companionship and meal prep or basic daily house cleaning duties

| I’m 29 years old. From Jamaica. I’ve been a caregiver since I was 18 years old. I came to Canada as a live in caregiver almost 10 years ago. I grew up with my grandparents so taking care of the elderly has been something that I have been passionate about. I studied Practical Nursing back home. I worked with my Canadian family for a few years then went on to school. When I finished school and started working, I became a caregiver for a company called Warm ‘n’ Cozy. I worked with them part time overnights and did my regular job as a medical transcriptionist/front desk staff for two years. I’ve always been passionate about working with the elderly.
