Currently was taking care of senior lady with dementia for 6 years. Before that I moved here from BC where I worked in senior homes as a hairdresser for about 8 years and came to really enjoy these older ones and their stories. I found many were very lonely at times and just needed a listening ear or someone to acknowledge them, even with a simple hello or a pat on the hand. I seem to be drawer to these older ones and get on with them very well. When I moved here I wanted to continue to work with seniors and so I put a add out there for seniors who needed assistance with daily life and companionship. I was very privileged to work with a senior lady who needed my kind service. My responsibility were, cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, med reminders, and true honest friendship.
