| Hi Families! Let me introduce myself! I’m Maddy! I am a vibrant, fun and caring RECE. I have been working in the childcare field since 2017 officially, caring for children long before that. I am currently in good standing with the college of ECE. I have been a personal nanny for many families, on top of being a childcare centre supervisor and Educator. I have worked in different atmospheres and am flexible and able to accommodate any type of care system you implement within your home. I tend to lead with love and compassion first - I believe all children are competent and capable individuals when given the safe space to thrive. With this in mind, I am looking for families who are seeking occasional care. I worked for a family 2-3 days a week for about 2 years starting when the children were 6 months old and 4 years old. Through these years responsibilities included meals/snacks, baths, putting the baby down for naps, changing diapers, toilet training, assisting with schoolwork and of course playtime, outdoor when possible:) More recently I nannied for a family of 3, ages 7,4 and new born For this family I cleaned floors, bathrooms, and kitchen. I also did laundry and cooked dinner for the family With the 7and 4 year old, I did play time with them after school, then dinner, bath time, pjs and wind down before snuggles and stories:) And for baby girl, comfort and snuggles when fussy, diaper duty, and naps. | Over the years I have worked with many different age groups starting from Infants to children 12 years of age. As an ECE there is no limit on activities to do with children, although it does depend on their ages. I work toward 7 main outlines: Sensory play, Outdoor Play, Pretend Play, Music and Movement, Creative Art, Math and Science, and Language and Literacy. I also believe regular field trips to different places in the community will also help in teaching the children social skills, and life skills. I am offering to be a creative outlet for your children, someone to get them moving even on a rainy day, someone who takes failures and turns them into learning opportunities, someone who believes family and community involvement is important in teaching children. I am someone who is hard-working, goal oriented, organized, nurturing, enthusiastic, communicative and someone who you can rely on when you need me.

| My name is Julianna. I have recently graduated from Georgian College and have an Early Childhood Education College Diploma (ECE) and am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have experience with children as I have completed 3 co-ops (St. Basil’s and at Darecare centres). I also happily provided childcare prior to earning my certificate by often babysitting.
