I have managed and looked after my husband who was very ill with many conditions, heart, respiratory, diabetes, wound care. In his last year, he was in need of palliative care and did not go into a home I provided his care 24/7 with some RN assistance for PICC care etc. My day consisted of all his medical needs, medication, grooming and bathing, toileting and incontinence issues, physical therapy plus all the usual travel Dr.'s appointments, meals etc. For me, this was a very difficult job and he has now passed and is finally at peace. But I learned that this is a learned skill set that I am very good at. I do not have formal training but years of experience and hands on learning.
I can also provide cleaning, driving, gardening, home cooking, friendly visit, grocery shopping etc. So please if there is any thing else that you need please contact me.
