| I am a mature responsible adult with 911 emergency training and am looking to help out/support families on a part-time basis in the Tottenham, Beeton and Alliston areas. My own children are all grown now and I have two adorable cats at home. I have a professional background but have recently been laid off due to shortage of work and currently have a part time business in residential cleaning if clients are also looking for this service. | I have extensive knowledge in child care as I started babysitting my younger brothers and their friends at a very young age! I graduated from Georgian College for child and youth care as I am extremely passionate about working with children and youth. I worked for two years at a group home as a residential support worker with children and youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities, I provide them with basic life skills including: hygiene, meal preparation, drives to appointments, walks in the town, etc. I currently work as an educational assistant with Simcoe County school board. I am a very enthusiastic person and am very excited to get more childcare experiences as I continue to move on in my career.
