| Hey there! My name is Petra, and I grew up as the eldest of 7 children in New Zealand. I have been cooking since I was 6 as I was given a lot of responsibility from a very young age to help out my mother. I love being around children, it reminds me of being back in New Zealand with all my syblings. I have references of a family that I baby sat for the first 5 years I was here.

| I am passionate, hardworking and well-educated in early childhood development and care, supporting children with diverse needs, and applied behavior analysis. I have my bachelors degree in early childhood education from the University of Guelph, and I currently work full-time as a behavior clinician. In my role, I provide therapeutic interventions to children with autism through the principles of applied behavior analysis. I look forward to beginning my Masters degree in the fall. I’m passionate about what I do and have over 5 years of working experience supporting children from infancy - early adolescence.
