| I am a very energetic, outgoing, active and adventurous person. I love being outdoors, creating art, playing sports as well as learning new things. I have played volleyball, hockey, soccer, baseball and been apart of swim teams my entire life. I also have a love for the arts, painting, sketching and sculpting. I have always had a passion for teaching and being around children and this seemed like one of the best ways to do that. I have grown up babysitting for families as well as pets. Besides children animals have always been a very big part of my life. I currently have my first aid, bronze medallion, bronze cross, NLS, CPR, AED, child CPR as well as Dog first aid and CPR. I was a provincial level swimmer during high school and then later went to college to pursue PacWest level volleyball. There's lots more to learn about me but that sums up some of the things.

| I truly would appreciate if you choose me to watch your kid or kids. I want to be able to provide parents with comfort and security of having someone trustworthy watching their little ones.

| I acquired my official babysitting certificate at the age of 12, after taking a 3 week course on babysitting ( first aid and safety skills, how to entertain the children, healthy and respectful disciplinary action, conflict resolution, and many other useful skills!) I have been caring for my younger cousins since they were as young as 6 months, sometimes overnight. My goal is to gain as much experience as I can so I can one day become a full time preschool teacher.

| We are actually a coffee shop BUT I am looking at expanding our services to give myself and my employees other options for helping out our community of Sooke. I have heard a lot of mothers who have come into the Cafe either for Cafe services or to listen to their need for childcare and myself and my team can help out when need be and available to help out! We are excited and eager to expand these services to the community of Sooke and look forward to helping out our neighbours and friends with a little childcare, grocery delivery, school drop offs etc, light housekeeping, dog walking, meal preparation for muffins, baked goods, and breads. We are also able to supply our new Sandwich Kits for lunches! During this recession we aim to reach out and be of service to not only potential new customers but also to give back to the community in a way that is really needed!!!

| Hi there! My name's Aaliyah, I'm looking to further my experiences in childcare and do what I love. I get along with children quite well and love spending time with them. Over the years I've gained experience volunteering with kids from toddler ages and up, on top of that my direct family has many links to Montessori preschooling and educational administration. In the summer of 2020, I worked as a camp assistant for the "Play and Learn Literacy Camp" run by EMCS, which took place in Sooke Elementary. I spent the month teaching the kids aged 6 to 9 math and reading, as well as organising and planning a variety of events and activities to brighten the camp up.
