Hi there! My name's Aaliyah, I'm looking to further my experiences in childcare and do what I love. I get along with children quite well and love spending time with them. Over the years I've gained experience volunteering with kids from toddler ages and up, on top of that my direct family has many links to Montessori preschooling and educational administration. In the summer of 2020, I worked as a camp assistant for the "Play and Learn Literacy Camp" run by EMCS, which took place in Sooke Elementary. I spent the month teaching the kids aged 6 to 9 math and reading, as well as organising and planning a variety of events and activities to brighten the camp up.
