I have taught in recreation settings including; skiing, biking, skating, outdoor adventure teaching skills including; fire building, shelter building, rock climbing, kayaking, orienteering etc. Training/ Education in Positive Behavior Support, High 5; Principles of Healthy Child Development , Fundamental Movement Skills, Inclusive Recreation, Program & Curriculum Design, and Nature Education. I am graduating from UVic with a degree in Recreation and Health Education and a minor in education. I am passionate about being outdoors, and letting kids be kids!

| Hi my name is Kierra and I am 27 years old and have over 10 years of childcare experience. I am the oldest of 11 kids. I have my ECE and first aid certificate. I have taught preschool for over 7 years and have worked as a nanny and in a daycare as well.

| I have worked both one-on-one with children in a nannying setting as well as in group settings in childcare centers. I currently have my ECEA license and am working towards my full ECE. I absolutely adore working with children and getting to experience their growth with them! | My name is Alida , I’m 22 years olds living in Sooke! After a brief pause just after high school I am seeking a position in childcare. I started babysitting in the beginning of high-school, and have experience caring for up to 4 children at a time. In the summer of 2016 I taught private swim lessons and I specialized in children with water trauma . Because of this experience, I have a lot of compassion and patience with children who live with anxiety. The following summer I worked at a summer camp for children ages 5-16 . Working as I lifeguard I supervised and interacted with multiple children a day, this really helped me strengthen my ability to care for multiple children at a time. After high-school I pursued a career in housekeeping, so I am no able to provide minor support with house keeping related tasks. When I babysit/Nanny , I try to incorporate nature and child lead play into my care . I have a love for teaching children, especially about nature and I have no problem with pets of any kind!
