I acquired my official babysitting certificate at the age of 12, after taking a 3 week course on babysitting ( first aid and safety skills, how to entertain the children, healthy and respectful disciplinary action, conflict resolution, and many other useful skills!) I have been caring for my younger cousins since they were as young as 6 months, sometimes overnight. My goal is to gain as much experience as I can so I can one day become a full time preschool teacher.
