27-year-old nursing student & caregiver, looking for part-time hours in central Hamilton area
|
I am currently a nursing student at McMaster, hoping to ultimately become a stem cell transplant nurse. I believe that caregiving is well suited to my personality, as I truly enjoy engaging with people.
My formal job experience in babysitting has been mostly with infants and toddlers, so I am quite familiar and comfortable with this age range. I’ve also cared for a few children with special needs, but less comfortably so. As a babysitter, I am quite playful in nature. I love arts & crafts, puzzles, and reading books with kids. I will get involved in whatever fun a kid wants to have, so long as it is appropriate and safe. (It is worthy of mention here that I am trained and certified in CPR/First Aid for healthcare providers).
I'm only available for part-time work, between 1-3 days/week or as needed. My schedule is relatively flexible. Unfortunately, I do not drive. I typically travel by public transit and by bike (weather depending). I live in central-downtown Hamilton. I am willing to travel anywhere around the city and in the periphery (Dundas, Ancaster, Stoney Creek) so long as it is accessible by HSR.
Anything else you'd like to know, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!
