Our family is searching for a hard-working senior care provider to take care of my Dad. There is 2 shifts:
1) Overnight: from 9:00pm to 9:00 am
2) Early day time: 10 am to 3pm
Night duties: He needs support with going to the washroom - he pees by his beside with a urinal. He needs to be massaged 2 to 3 hours at night to help him sleep. He may ask for food once at night.
Early daytime: 10 am to 3pm: brushing teeth, assistance with waking up, morning massage as my dad is weak in the morning.
My mum and dad sleep in the same room. A bed is provided for the overnight shift. There is a bed in their room and there is a bed outside their room as well.
$229 - $29512 Hr. / Day

Looking for a PSW (preferably female), to provide companionship for my sweet elderly father who is currently living in a long term care home.
Dad has dementia and has suffered multiple strokes. He is in a broda wheelchair.
I am looking for someone to be a companion to him for two weeks, as well as be his voice (an advocate) when needed.
*Hours would be from 9 am - 1:30 pm*
Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sunday
Duties would include but not limited to:
*Feeding him for both breakfast and lunch.
*Taking him for walks (around the LTC home). Take him outdoors for fresh air. If weather permits. Take him to any events that recreation is hosting.
*Converse with him.
*Massage his hands (especially the stroke side).
*Ask that he be changed if he has a bowel movement.
*Ensure his overall wellbeing.
*if you speak Portuguese that is a bonus
Note: If you are flexible and willing, I am also looking for an additional hour in the evening from 5-6 pm. This would be for his evening feeding etc.
