Looking for a PSW (preferably female), to provide companionship for my sweet elderly father who is currently living in a long term care home. Dad has dementia and has suffered multiple strokes. He is in a broda wheelchair. I am looking for someone to be a companion to him for two weeks, as well as be his voice (an advocate) when needed. *Hours would be from 9 am - 1:30 pm* Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sunday Duties would include but not limited to: *Feeding him for both breakfast and lunch. *Taking him for walks (around the LTC home). Take him outdoors for fresh air. If weather permits. Take him to any events that recreation is hosting. *Converse with him. *Massage his hands (especially the stroke side). *Ask that he be changed if he has a bowel movement. *Ensure his overall wellbeing. *if you speak Portuguese that is a bonus Note: If you are flexible and willing, I am also looking for an additional hour in the evening from 5-6 pm. This would be for his evening feeding etc.
