Attention: Elder Care Providers in East York, Ontario Our family is currently seeking a live-out, part-time caregiver to provide home care for our elderly loved one. The primary responsibilities will include assisting with bathing, preparing light meals, personal care, and providing companionship. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $22.00 and flexible scheduling options. Experienced with elder care, particularly dementia patients, is required. Applicants must be able to understand Italian and speaking some is an asset. We are looking for 2-3 days per week for approximately 6-7 hours a day. Wednesdays and Fridays and one weekend day would be ideal. Mondays are also possible days in the future. One or two family members would be conducting the initial interview and if compatible, we would then have you meet our 89 year old mother for a second interview.

Our family is searching for a hard-working senior care provider. Ideally you would have a few years of experience, references and live near East York M4J. My mother is 89 and mobile. Her memory is not good. We just need someone to supervise her taking her medication once per day. She is able to do everything else including cook precooked meals in microwave. The challenge is she will without supervision take medication several times per day not remembering that she already took it. Someone needs to watch her take it and then the medication needs to be hidden away until the next day. Thanks
