| Hello! My name is Lynn, I am 29 years old and have been working with special needs for the majority of my life, beginning with growing up with an older brother on the Autism spectrum. I have volunteered with special needs organizations like the Special Olympics and Young Life Capernaum, and have been working as a disability support worker here in Sydney for a year and a half. I am currently studying at Hillsong College to receive my Bachelors Degree in Pastoral Ministry and Leadership.

| The reason I ended up working with special needs children was because I had a cousin with Rett Syndrome, I worked in her nursery when she was 4 and I decided that’s where I wanted to go! After completing my degree I moved to London to work in a nursery for children with disabilities And I loved my role there, I learnt so much and loved trying out new games and activities with the kids, from there I went into being a team leader for children with disabilities in out of school service so I lead on after school clubs, saturdays and holidays from the age of 4 to 24 year olds, from this I went onto an inclusive out of school service to manage. It has been amazing and awarding working in the work I was in but it came a time when I was finished with London and wanted some sun.. so here I am :) It’s personal to me as well as professional, I know what the families want and will always try to communicate what the child wants :)

| My name is Paula, I am psychopedagogy graduated in Argentina with eight of experience in the area of education. My career gave me knowledge about child development, disability, neurodiversity and additional needs, which I put into practice in my work. I have knowledge of pedagogy and psychology, focused on learning people from birth. I worked as inclusion support teacher for student with down syndrome, I was private tutor for primary, secundary school, and I also taught in various secondary schools. Throughout my work I had many experiences with people with special needs. I am a very patient, loving and kind person who respects the learning rhythms of others.
