I love spending time with children of all ages and adapt well to meeting them at their level.
I’ve worked with children and adults on the autism spectrum, with ADHD, down syndrome and other disabilities including Deaf folk, and people with learning and physical disabilities. know basic Auslan and KWS.
I am very familiar with childhood asthma and looking after babies and toddlers with daycare colds. I'm comfortable administering medications including IM injections (with extremely clear instructions).
My previous experience is extensive and covers day and evening care, homework help, dinner and baby food prep, school pick up, bath and bed time, teething, sleep regression, and sick babies (so many daycare colds!).
I have left the world of full time work to study, so my hours are very flexible. I'm happy to be contacted for short-notice jobs and to care for sick children sent home from daycare. I have my own vehicle, a full NSW licence and current police check. References available.
