We would like someone with a few years experience given there are 3 of them, references, and who lives near to C or can make their own way to our house and our car can be used for pick up. Hi, we’re a family of 4, recently relocated to Brisbane from London, and are looking for a part-time nanny for our bubbly 8-year-old daughter M, who has Cerebral Palsy and learning difficulties. Due to her needs, she requires assistance with all activities and personal care. She is though full of happiness, with an infectious smile and wishes to be engaged in everything. She is very chatty, has a great sense of humour and loves pretend play. We are looking for someone who is equally bubbly and energetic, caring and patient, and can give her the attention she needs. They should also feel comfortable in challenging and assisting her with her physical and cognitive development. They should have experience working with children but not necessarily with Special Needs children. Based in Chapel Hill, it will be for after-school care - 3 afternoons a week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 3pm-6pm). During school holidays it would be great if they could help out for full days. General tasks would be receiving her from a school bus drop-off at our home, followed by playing/engaging/doing exercises with her and assisting her with eating pre-made dinner. It may include taking her to a playground or the occasional therapy appointment, therefore, he/she/they would need their own registered car and driver’s license. Possession of a Blue Card is also essential.
