We live in Bardon and are seeking a nanny to help with pick-up and drop-off 2 days per week for our 4yo son and 6yo daughter. We are also hoping for some assistance with cooking dinners, packing lunches and some light housework/tidying. Start date: 5th August 2024 Days: Mondays and Tuesdays Time: 7.15-9.30am + 1.45-5pm (5.5hrs total per day) OR 7am-5pm (10 hrs) If you would prefer full days, we would need more thorough assistance with housework and meal preparation while the kids are at school/kindy. We would need you to drive the kids, so a licence, good driving track record and reliable car is essential. We can provide child seats and fuel money. CASUAL ROLE: 10- 20 hours per week. Our wonderful nanny of 3 years is sadly leaving us for a new opportunity and we are looking for someone to replace her from 8 July. Hours: Initially just Tuesdays 7:30 to 17:30 (10 hours per week) Increasing to Mondays in August/Sept if it was working out for everyone! Rates: $30 +++ per hour depending on your experience/qualifications Location: Bardon The Role: primarily caring for two boys (ages 14 months and 3.5 years old) and their big sister (6 years old) before/after school Duties: - drop 6 y o at school at 0845 (just around the corner) - Look after 2 boys at home, play with them, prepare/supervise lunch , snacks, naps - Pick up 6 y o from school at 1500 and care for the 3 kids until I come home at 1730 Essential Qualities: - kind, patient, genuinely enjoy, and have experience with, small children. -Blue card, First Aid/CPR certification, drivers licence are a must You will be required to drive my car with the 3 kids to/from school twice a day. School is very close to our house and zero traffic, but a steep hill means it is not walkable with the younger two kids. The kids are happy and easy going.
