Hello Nannies! We are looking for an In-Home Care Educator to look after our soon-to-be one year old daughter Skye. She is a bright and bubbly girl, who loves interactive play and attending library rhyme time / baby sensory classes. We have happily recently established a fairly reliable sleep schedule. We are both professionals working jobs that entail 24/7 rosters and will require care when we have overlapping shifts. We expect that we will require care for approximately an average of 40 hours per fortnight (will vary depending on rosters – rosters will be provided at least 2 weeks ahead of time and there is some room flexibility). Our nanny will need to be flexible on days and length of shifts. We may at times require care from as early as 5am, or as late as 11pm. Weekday and weekend work will be required, with an occasional night stay (will provided with own room). Requirements include: - Recent experience in caring for young children and ability to provide references - Registration with / willingness to register with an In-Home Care Provider - First Aid / CPR - Blue Card - Childcare qualification - Hold (or be working toward) a Certificate III in Early Childcare (or higher) - Open Drivers Licence and own car would be preferable Duties: - General care and interactive play - Meal-prep and feeding during period of care - Bathing and bedtime - Negotiable – outings such as library rhyme time / baby sensory classes Remuneration: - ~$35+/hr, negotiable Dates: - We require care from the beginning of March, but would love to provide the opportunity for our nanny to work a couple of shifts prior to get to know Skye, and for her to become comfortable with our nanny with one of us still available. We are looking for a friendly, practical housekeeper/childcarer to be our 3rd and 4th pair of hands. You will be assisting the primary caregiver with the daily tasks of childrearing and housekeeping at home. Your role will be practical in nature, assisting in the care of our children, general housekeeping, cleaning and cooking and other things like accompaniment to activities and appointments. A close relationship with our family and the ability to respond to our needs as our kids grow is essential. As is the ability to take initiative and ‘get things done’, to confidently cook vegetarian meals for the whole family and generally assisting in the running of the household; whilst meeting the needs of the children and including them in your daily activity. Attention to detail and the ability to intuit the needs of the family and contribute to an organic flow of shared work between the primary caregiver and yourself is highly desired. The primary caregiver is at home full-time and very hands on with both childcare and housekeeping. Hours vary slightly between 8 am and 5pm Thursday to Monday with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Total of 38 hrs p/w. Permanent full-time employment. This is negotiable for the right applicant.
