Looking for a nanny for my two boys aged 11 and 8 (almost 9!). I am a single dad and an emergency room doctor, so do work shift work with occasional overnights. My kids' mom lives nearby, possibility exists that she and I nanny share. Some days will need help with both pickup and dropoff. Some days will need help only in the evenings. Most important: My schedule is known well in advance and last minute cancellations would be problematic. Kiddos are FUN: they like to draw, ride bikes, be outside, etc. Give us a shout!

We are based in Chapel Hill and are lookin at regular work of 15-20 hours per week plus additional during school holidays at a rate of 35 per hour plus super. We have two boys, 7 and 9 and are looking for some ongoing assistance in the afternoons, 2:30 to 5:30 most days. The focus is the boys, pick up, activity transport and homework. The boys are what you would expect, lots of energy, need a bit of convincing to get homework done but are well mannered and respectful. We are both busy but engaged professionals juggling the balance between work and kids but pretty reasonable. We have had the same nanny with the boys for 8 years who is leaving us to start her own family but is still a part of ours. We are looking for everyday in the week but can be flexible around other commitments. Reliability is key for us long with alignment with our values of respect and diligence with the boys.
