At least two references are required. The person hired will start of as a mommy helper and train with mom until they are ready to take on all the responsibilities of their job description. This could take 2 weeks or it could take a couple of months. I am not in a rush and want to prepare the right person well. Looking for someone who has flexible availability. College Student Needed For Flexible Childcare In St. Michaels Family of five is looking to hire a responsible college-age student to provide extra support in our home for three children this summer. This role is for five weeks beginning July 1 - August 4. Each week will average 15-20 hours. The position duties include daytime childcare (including supervising swimming), assisting with camp pickups, tidying and maintaining the kids' spaces in the home and the kitchen, children's laundry, and meal prep for children. This position requires a person who is comfortable being responsible for three children, is a self-starter, can take initiative in an organized fashion, and has a patient, playful, and creative mindset with children.
