Help With Our 10 Month Old (& 4 Year Old Eventually) - Looking f...

One Time $15 – 25/hr Starts 02/10 White Lake, MI
Looking for temporary help now to get my girls warmed up to someone new, with the hopes of more consistent care starting in the summer (June/July). Currently, need help with my 10-month-old, maybe one day a week for 3-4 hours. If things go well, may be interested in regular help 2-3 days/week while I work. I also have an almost 4-year-old (in daycare currently), who will be home during the summer and would eventually need help with her 2-3 days a week. We have a 6-year-old lab/border collie mix, who is super friendly and low maintenance. Non-smoking home. We prefer the kids be outdoors and unplugged as much as possible. Our oldest is very imaginative, strong-willed, and loving. Our 10-month-old is exploring everything, walking/falling all over and full is smiles. We are on a 2 nap schedule for the youngest and the oldest is still doing 1 midday nap. Nature, animals, play, learning with natural consequences and allowing "failure" and accidents for the sake of resilience. We encourage our oldest to use her words and practice resesting when upset. We don't do this timeouts, but encourage breaks if needed to reset and try again. Our oldest loves to play imaginatively and will make up scenarios and games all day long. She enjoys music, singing, biking, swinging, nature walks, books, puzzles, drawing, coloring, jumping on the trampoline, learning, and exploring what it means to be a big sister. Our youngest loves her bubba (dog), tickles, music, books, jumping in her bed, being chased, and wants to walk and carry things all over the house. Our oldest is very independent, but needs help with sitting down for meals, being guided through transitions, read book before nap, and given 5/2 minute warnings before the next task is happening. Our youngest will need to be fed (purées and some soft solids and bottles/sippy cup), diapers changed, put down for naps. Patience and ability to engage in play. ( : Park in the driveway
